The Long Winter

Well this has been a long winter. It was always going to be hard to do lockdown during the winter months. In Spring, we had long days and good weather and it was easier for the kids to get exercise and fun outdoors and when regulations allowed - with friends. The winter lockdown meant shorter days, low temperatures and stormy weather which made it even harder to tempt everyone outside. But we’ve been fortunate enough to have lots of outdoor space and have made the most of it by firing up our pizza oven to have dinner under the stars, building dens and during the big snow dump, building an igloo. l hope wherever you are, you have survived this winter of discontent and done your best to thrive.
