Last week we had a brief taste of Spring. The snowdrops appeared, we saw blue skies, I even had my jacket off one day. Then winter returned with a vengeance. Snow, gales and biting, cold horizontal rain. Nothing else for it but to curl up in front of the fire with a good book, a blanket and a glass of red.
